Filippo Caprioglio received his degree in Architecture at "Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia" University of Venice, thesis: "The Museum of the city in Mestre" in 1997 and then the Master in Architecture M-Arch II from Syracuse University School of Architecture Syracuse, N.Y. in tear 2000-2001. He taught from 2002 to 2005 as Assistant Professor design studio for Syracuse University School of Architecture, in Syracuse, NY and Florence, Italy. He was invited to several final and thesis reviews by other university such IUAV Venice, School of Architecture of Ferrara, University of Trieste, University of Colorado and University of Maryland. In the past years he has done projects by himself and with the firm “Caprioglio Associati” in partnership with his father. The most recent projects includes: new residential buildings, renovation and new concept stores store, urban renovation planning, the restoration of Ca’Foscari in Venice for the University of Venice, new offices and an ophthalmologic clinic. Filippo Caprioglio, alongside architecture, put the passion for the industrial design that brought him to design lamps, chairs and everyday objects for Italian and foreign factories. He is also member of the scientific committee of the architecture magazine “Mestre idee per una città possibile” by Marsilio. He wrote and published on books and magazines such l’Arca, Design Diffusion, Progettare, I quaderni di Spazio e Società, Foglio and Villa Rossa Voice.
